The crabbing has been terrific since the commercial season closed in August with lots of folks getting what they want in less than an hour. Of course some people don’t stop till they get their limit of 36 or more in a couple hours, more or less. I’d say that 1/2 of the crab have recently molted, 1/4 are 1/2 way full and the last 1/4 have not molted yet. Salmon season officially opened down here at the jaws, we watched them net a few from our RV park, the biggest so far 35 lbs. that we’ve seen. Try to get some pictures on here soon. The weather has been holding, with just a small mist last nite.
